i have a large event to go to tomorrow night and i am not as tan as i would like to be. i have used the dove energy glow lotion in medium a few days ago and i missed some spots but i loved the areas where it worked, and had a really hard time fixing it. i dont want to mess my skin up for tomorrow and look blotchy, so is there... i use the darkest shade of jergens and my skin color is olive. it gives a nice tan and doesnt make ure skin blotchy. just make sure to take of any rings when applying it and wash hands. but dont worry even if u dont wash ure hands its not gross. like other lotions that look like youve dug ure hands in mud.

I have been getting these really weird white spots in my face they come and go but i get them every year?
I think it could be that you're allergic to the sun. Doe it happen mainl in summer? My friend got them all the time when she stayed out in the sun and she went to the dr about tthem and he said she was allergic to the sun. I can't remember what he prescribed but it's not dangerous. Maybe you should go to the dr too.

It cleared my skin and literally made the scars (spots) disappear. It's like it ';raises'; the skin up somehow. Maybe causes new skin to grow?? I don't know, but it works. And even though it's an oil, and I already have oily prone skin, it didn't leave a trace of oil on my skin. It made it feel like velvet. If you read some of my other answers ... you'll see that I highly recommend it!!
I got mine cheap at www.naturesinventory.com ... for $10 for a 4 oz. bottle. It was the same price for one ounce at my local drug store. The same people also sell on eBay and sometimes you can bid and get it even cheaper.

You can get it anywhere like Boots etc, and its really good. It reduces the size of the spot within a few hours. I'd totally recommend it.
A good foundation to try would be the Rimmel Matte mousse, again you can get it from Boots. I've found it to be one of the best I've used and I've tried foundations of varying prices. It's about 拢5 so very reasonable and it helps to keep your face shine free. Well worth a try for the price. It also stays on well. I can put it on in morning and it's still ok in the evening.
For a concealer, stick with Rimmel. They do one that's called Clear Complexion. I use that if I need to cover anything up. I think it has ingredients in it to help treat the spot as well as covering it up. It's a reasonable price too.

Go to the Body Shop and check out their tee tree range, it really helped my daughter and she loves it. They also do plenty of make up there which is based on natural products so less likely to cause you any reactions or make your skin worse. They are usually really helpful in the shops if you go in and explain what you want.

Use mineral foundation (loreal one is 拢14) but lasts ages so is well worth it - covers everything, and doesnt irritate your skin or make spots worse. You dont need concealer with it no joke!

Its made from witch hazel and tea tree oil and really does help, its about 拢3.50 I think and its an essential makeup bag item! I also use max factor or clinique foundation but I think that they are both well out of your price range - sorry!

-if you have a lot of spots, use an on-the-spot-treatment, any brand.
-if you have dry skin, get a moisturizer, any brand
-aloe vera. It's ususally used for sunburns, but if you apply a small amount on spots it will reduce redness, swelling and the dark pigmented spots they sometimes leave behind.
i use clearasil ultra deep pore scrub (should be about 拢3.50 from a supermarket), which i find is really good to take away the redness of spots, and makes them a lot easier to cover up. i find my skin clears up within a few days when i use this. just use it in the morning and at night, i'd advise you to apply moisturiser after as it might dry your skin out a little, nivea is a good one and under 拢2. as for concealer and foundation, sometimes it is a good idea to invest in a decent one which are of course more expensive. and use less!
if you can, try a couple of days every now and again not wearing any make up at all to give your skin a rest, but still cleanse and moisturise it. i do this when my skins a bit rubbish and it really helps!eye liner

As you probably already know, white sun spots are caused by overexposure to the sun and more technically from a skin fungus called tinea versicolor. Especially common with the way the ozone layer is disappearing these days. There is a brand called ';Body Drench'; they make a product called ';Wipe Out'; which was designed specifically for white sun spots. You apply the gel to the spots twice a day. You will see results in about three weeks. I would look online for this product first. I think you can only get it online or through a salon or spa. I hope this helps you.

I have to say that tri-luma is more effective. I have been using tri-luma for about 3 weeks now to treat melasma (dark Spots) and acne scars. I have to say I am amazed at the results. My face is clearing up (not blotchy), the spots are fading and it has even made my skin look younger. I have tried many things in the past and spent lots of money, but tri-luma is worth it. I just turned 21 and I have recently noticed that I am starting to get brown spots (or sun spots) all over my face. Is it normal to get them at a young age? i put vaseline on at night and in the morning the redness fades away quite a lot

I missed some spots while dying my hair black?
Oops... yeah, i just noticed them... brassy streaks in the back of my head under all the other hair. I must have missed them. I dyed my hair black. Its a good start to head to Wal-Mart in search of some products to clear up your skin. I'm African-American as well and have tried ProActiv which worked but then went against me. I've tried Ambi, Black Opal, Black Radiance, Olay would be my best suggestion coming from a stores like Wal-mart, CVS, Target, etc.
Right now I am using Enfuselle (check out the source whenever you can). Its nutrition therapy for diff skin types. I'm combination so its kind of difficult to treat the skin. But so far it's working great! Once I cleanse my skin I use BareMinerals with the mineral veil and man I turn heads wherever I go! ;-)
As far as the hair I decided to go natural and have been twisting it and straightening it with a blow dryer and flat iron every now and then and the same result is just like someone who has relaxed their hair. Its a good start to head to Wal-Mart in search of some products to clear up your skin. I'm African-American as well and have tried ProActiv which worked but then went against me. I've tried Ambi, Black Opal, Black Radiance, Olay would be my best suggestion coming from a stores like Wal-mart, CVS, Target, etc.
Right now I am using Enfuselle (check out the source whenever you can). Its nutrition therapy for diff skin types. I'm combination so its kind of difficult to treat the skin. But so far it's working great! Once I cleanse my skin I use BareMinerals with the mineral veil and man I turn heads wherever I go! ;-)
As far as the hair I decided to go natural and have been twisting it and straightening it with a blow dryer and flat iron every now and then and the same result is just like someone who has relaxed their hair. The flexibility of having it out in curls or in twists on some days is great and the thought of not worrying about having my umbrella after getting a roller wrap is relief!
