After I shave, wax, etc, my legs always have red/tan spots where all the hair follicles? Help!?

It doesn't matter what kind of hair removal I use, these spots are always there. They get better but still visible (I think because of my pale skin), and I feel self conscious. I also get ingrown hairs in a couple areas and it causes raised red bumps. Ick. I'm trying to find different of help it (like exfoliating) but nothing seems to work.

Thanks for your answers!!After I shave, wax, etc, my legs always have red/tan spots where all the hair follicles? Help!?
Hi,

Sometimes this happens when shaving because the razor is blunt - try getting a good quality razor - $10-15, and see if that helps.

Also, it helps in the shower if you have a warm shower for a while, then shave. The warm water makes it easier when your skin is warm, also its bad if you have goose bumps.. (obviously)

Try a new moistureiser - sometimes this makes legs ';dottie';.. maybe you are allergic to your soap, and after you shave/wax off your hairs (and a fine layer of skin) the soap is irritating your skin!..

Perhaps you could try a natrual soap like goats milk, or a soap free soap... just doesnt have the same chemicals in it. :)

Hope this helps!
