Stay away from oils expecially in food (deep fried), exfoliate.

Heard about steaming, no idea what works.

I have never had a pimple on my skin, maybe once or twice in my life. An old friend had them all over her face, it's just puberty, hormones and how much oil is in your skin and hair etc. It will pass, and if you cant wait for that, go to a Dermetologist.Steaming your face for spots?
steaming shouldn't make your acne worse. in addition to opening up your pores, it also increases your circulation, which helps reduce swelling and redness and helps your skin heal.

if you have a really bad spot, you can use a washcloth soaked with hot water to ';steam'; just that spot (rather than your whole face). do it for 10-15 minutes once a day 'til the spot begins to noticeably heal.
Steaming should only be 1-2 times a week. It is meant to open up your pores so you can cleanse your face better. I would steam then use a cleanser then wash it off and THEN rinse with very cold water to close your pores back up.
I do it regularily (2 times a week). to see some results, you'll have to wait at least 2-3 weeks. you can add some camomile to the water and remember to cover your head with a towel not to let the steam out. this should last for about 15 min. after you've finished, use a pore-closing mask.
